    making light sheets is not nessesary because the objectiv and foto stacking have this possibility and fluorescenc-microscopy still gives unsharp images. Light sheets are still thicker than tocal plane sharpness. Here much theory is given but i see no results

    Thank you for this! In particular, for the section starting @20:15 on separating individually excited molecules within a single pixel. Previously, this made no sense to me, and all of the other videos I’ve seen on PALM/STORM skip over this highly essential detail. But seeing that the distribution of quanta across neighboring pixels will give you information about the location of the molecule within central pixel makes the whole thing make sense.

      Don't think so. The hardware was made for desktop pc usage.

    Audio is mostly unintelligible. Way too much compression. And Firewire cards need a power connector?? I just moved a card from one computer to another, and it was never connected to a power source. I don't see a power connector.
